Henry has taken after his big brother, they consume books quicker than I can keep up with the supply...
He is currently reading the Percy Jackson series, he also loves ancient history (he is desperate to visit Greece - aren't we all, sigh) so this series ticks all the boxes.
Anyway, This months challenge at Scrap the Boys is perfect, scrap about your boys fav book etc. Henry was hard pressed to pick his fav but was happy to list his current pile beside his bed.
And I have been playing along with Shimelle and her new class - This Lo is using a small floral mixed with other patterned paper - very neat for me...
And did you notice? Both are genuine paper Lo's!! Definitely having fun using up supplies - I am only getting new stamps from Cocoa Daisy (I need a new supply hit from somewhere!!) until we are well and truly settled into our new house. If I need new embellishments, then I will print some digi supplies off and go hybrid. But I have more papers, alphas etc than I can jump over so will be good to diminish the supply...
Very quick post today - if you are on The East Coast of America, hope you are keeping warm and dry and that life gets back to normal very soon - some of the photos are astonishing..

Great layouts Karen - I was surprised to see that they were both actually made of paper! Love them both.
You've made me think - we need to get out and inspect the new dam - haven't been out that way yet.
What???? PAPER???? LOVEEEEEE them both! I'm especially partial to the reading one. I have a little reader in my house too. One out of five......the others will only pick up a book to see if the remote is under it....sighhhh
I did notice that they were both paper...in fact the second one has one of my all time fave papers as your background piece!! Loveeeeeeeeee these!!!!
Thanks for joining in at STB - Love the colours and all the little details. Great photo too :)
Awesome layouts and I love that you have included a list of little Henry's favourite books :) Thanks for playing along at STB!
I LOVE boys that read books..wish my youngest had done so more. Soooo good! LOVE your hexagons & twine on top one - & the flourish on the 2nd works VERY well....critique over! So glad you're papering it for a bit, too...as for Greece....we visited Delphi...a MUST when he gets to go. Missed out on Olympia, but that's OK. I can live with that! Did do ancient Corinth but after Delphi it was a bit of a let-down...LOVED their little museum, tho...sozzy...if you don't mention Greece, Italy, Turkey, Russia etc [yawn...] I won't mention TRAVEL:):):))
Sweet layout...fun bright colours.
