Winner and a new challenge

Hey everyone, a quick post on a rainy day. First up a winner from our Valentines day blog hop. A quick spin by the Random Number generator came up with #10 so our winner is

JulieJ

So if Julie J if you can send me an email - kwray01(at)gmail.com - with your address then i can pop those in the post for you.

And now onto our latest challenge - all involving holidays, esp when you were a kid.
the actual challenge is:

March is the month where school children have a spring break in Canada. Scrap some memories of a spring break (or another school break) that you experienced.

Our big holidays were over January and Dad could never take much time off and we have had the odd farmers holiday which involved travelling around a lot of back roads looking at what other farmers were up to - Dad was always willing to experiment on the farm..

Mum would take us on a train and go see Nan who lived just north of Sydney in a town called Woy Woy. And one of the day trips from there was the reptile park in Gosford. Can only remember the big dinosaur out the front. That's all. But we have photos and I look happy and it involved animals so I guess I probably had a good time.

It's my husbands birthday today but due to kids having duties scattered around the countryside we will be having celebrations tomorrow. But we did spend an exciting morning looking at ovens and cook tops. Too many choices.

so come and play with us again over At Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge - we love having you!

OK, that's a bit weird...I figured when I saw your LO over at AFSC it couldn't be 'the' reptile park...but it is! The park itself has moved up the hill to Somersby...but the dinosaur is still there - you can see it from the F3... & I live at Woy Woy:):):) Small world!!!!!!
